Description
A thickly textured abstract painting with a ridged square at centre. The proportions of the square in relation to the rectangular canvas have been calculated according to the ratios of the golden section. The texture of the canvas is enhanced by the use of complementary colours; green on a field of red with highlights of blue. This creates a disturbing visual illusion.
