Description
A rectangular-shaped terracotta and cream coloured jar with a circular aperture and lid and four feet at either corner on the base. The surfaces are textured with pock marks and short cracks overall. The glaze shows the characteristics of the shino technique; milky white with a brown 'flare' in the lower half resulting from anagama wood-firing.
