Description
An expansive landscape view of Cornwall. In the foreground is an arrangement of food and crockery, in the mid-ground are stone walls, buildings (including the silhouette of a tin mine structure) and pastures, with distinctively shaped hills/mountains in the background. Includes silhouette of tine mine structures, possibly references to the Carn Galver mine site in north Penwith, near to where the artist lived. The entire composition is abstracted with overlapping shapes and intersecting patterns.
