Object Detail

Description
A shaped panel painting that creates the illusion of dimension, texture and relief. The main area is a rectangular ochre field overpainted with white and blue expressive marks. The blue marks indicate two vertical bands along the right and left edges. Blue rectangular shapes protrude from the top and bottom edges and create the illusion that these rods run behind the main field; a reference to Don Peebles painting construction series from the late 1970s.
