Description
A black-inked print features a range of symbols associated with nineteenth century Maori leader, Te Kooti Arikirangi Te Turuki, and Ringatu movement. These symbols include (from left to right): a crescent, cross, peak, heart (with arrow) and star. These are contained within a central horizontal band, intersected by larger triangular shapes. These may be read as an abstracted landscape with hills/mountains.
