A folk scene depicting a group of people in a snow-covered landscape. The central figures include a well dressed woman indicating her interest in a pair of skates being offered by a seated vendor. They are surrounded by people engaged in conversation. There is a tent structure to the right with what appears to be a bar (for serving alcohol) in front. In the background is a line of conical buildlings and a couple ice skating.
