Description
A red and black mezzotint that contrasts geometric and organic shapes. The image comprises two rectangular plates that meet along a wavy edge at centre: the black plate is sitting above the red slightly to the right. Both plates have a band of light hatching along the central region and along a short edge of the plate (red: left edge), (black: right edge). These 'bands' line up to create a 'z' shaped band that unifies the two fields. There are also rounded cell-like shapes within the main area of each plate; these are 'ghosted' and difficult to see in some light.
