Description
A brightly coloured expressionist scene of a golden field of grass but with a sky of dark clouds indicating rain. The picture plane is divided into thirds, and each section rendered with a different technique. The sky is described by a thin wash in greys and white, the mid ground features broad hatching in yellow and the foreground comprises fine hatching in all of the colours aforementioned along with reds and orange.
