Object Detail

Description
A maroon-inked lithograph featuring a group of four young women dressed in ritual costume. Three of the figures are playing woodwind instruments, the other appears to be singing from a song book for the popular Dutch carol 'Glory to God. There is a scroll of musical notes hanging vertically beneath the song book. The two figures at the rear have upturned feathered wings. The figure on the right appears to have a halo. The front two figures have the bleeding heart icon on their chest area. All figures are looking askance to a point beyond the right edge of the image.
