Description
A red ochre glazed jug featuring a medieval-style English hunting scene embossed in yellow ochre glaze. A huntsman, carrying a quiver of arrows, blows on a horn trumpet. There is a unicorn standing on its rear legs amidst a stand of trees. Other motifs include butterflies, rabbits and birds. The jug has a thumb grip and attaches to the main body with a scroll.
