Description
An abstract painting with a geometric composition; an ochre 't' cross at centre bisected at centre with the letters "IXII" (which appear to be Roman numerals) surrounded on either side with dark (blue and brown) fields of gestural marks and a band running along the left and bottom edges. The composition is based on fence posts observed in the Marsden Valley behind Stoke.
